Delivering a complex nose of black fruit, spices, chocolate. Powerful and complex on the palate offering up a heady mix of morello, cocoa, liquorice, tobacco, and prune. Full and structured, beautiful length with elegant tannins.
A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and a splash of Petit Verdot, it’s not far off the style of the 2010, although maybe with a touch more accessibility. It should cruise for another 30 years in cold cellars.
