This is aromatically similar to the Clos Prieur though on the palate of the medium weight and caressing flavours there is a bit more volume and punch that carries over to the caressing bitter pit fruit-inflected finale. This could use better depth but the balance is more dialled in, which should more easily permit the depth to develop over time.
